Dawnbright Dreamfright
The dawnbright butterfly eases her way
She drifts deftly around the room.
The baby-fat cat murmurs a hopeful tune
She push-paws with the beat.
Dawnlight duo celebrate together,
Their son et luminaire.
I wake to join the party
As champagne thoughts stir within
The bubbles fizz and gently ripple
My newday dreams begin with you
My heart is tickled
Truly it tumbled.
You float by aloft
`Midst streamers and balloons
I leap to catch your outstretched hand,
I miss.
