Poem page seven
Ether-dream
I love a stranger three thousand miles away,
A snow-soft dove
Who seems to breathe beside me.
Our lives intertwine through criss-crossed time.
Though I`ll see many-a-dawn without her
My nights bring us a little closer.
Two lovers, dreamers, two world explorers,
Seek freedom in world-wide places.
With lips that ::kiss:: and hands that clasp
Through time and space.
Two hearts that seek and find and race
Through tides in ether-flow,
Holding tight when love is found.
Almond eyes know a moment in time.
White almond blossom drifts in the wind.
Falling tears cross ocean storms,
And a chesnut mane shines,
As night-mare clouds bring rain,
Soothing, healing ether-love pain.
Distances shrink through technological means.
Hearts move closer through lovers dreams.
Someday, to stand together, someplace,
Lives that meet to merge,
Held in ether-embrace.
A Duel of Delight and Desperation
