Bushes and trees
These are some of the trees and bushes planted on the alottment.
You will see them in the diary pictures. They are bought as a
"stick in a bag" from bargain shops but although they look sad at first
hopefully you will see them in fruit and flower as they grow.
The Hawthorn is here because its a plant from my childhood. Mel chose the
Chaenomeles Japonica for its flowers and I bought the Apricot in error.
Blueberries are for the American connection. We have two pear trees planted
a year apart. We also grow gooseberries, white currants and red currants on bushes not shown here.
Other fruit we are growing is blackberries, strawberries and rhubarb.
